EASTERN EUROPEAN MISSION

Since 1961 Eastern European Mission (EEM) has been providing
God's Word to the people of Russia and Eastern Europe in their own
languages. For many years we had to find ways to get the Bibles
through an Iron Curtain. But God brought the Wall down and now we
are able to provide Bibles and Biblical literature in 20 languages
to all the nations of the former Soviet Union. These materials are
provided to individuals, mission churches, campaign groups, and
other organizations related to the Church that teach God's Word in
former communist nations. We also provide hundreds of thousands of
Bibles and Biblical literature to Russian families, children in
youth camps, Russian public school regions, and many orphanages.

WALLER ASSISTANCE AND RESTORATION MINISTRIES.
(W.A.R.M.)

The Waller-Prairie View Ministerial and others in the Christian community
have for some time been concerned about better ways to serve those who need help
in the Waller community. Pastors, church staff, volunteers and other
organizations often find themselves attempting to make decisions regarding the
needs of different individuals and families without having the time or staffing
to fully evaluate the situation. Many congregations simply do not have the
resources to help those outside their own church families.
Waller Assistance and Restoration Ministries, Inc. (W.A.R.M.), a Texas
non-profit corporation, has been formed by local Christian leaders and through
the merger of long-standing Christian Outreach Ministries in the community of
Waller, (Waller Pantry and Closet, etc.) formed the Ministerial Alliance in
1986.

2008 Relay for Life Cy-Fair

Cy-Woods High School
Each year, across the nation, one event brings together entire communities to
take part in the fight against cancer. That event is the American Cancer Society
Relay For Life®. It’s a time and place where people come to celebrate those who
have survived cancer, remember those we’ve lost, and fight back against a
disease that touches too many lives.
It’s not just an opportunity to celebrate, remember, and fight back but it helps the American Cancer Society work toward a mission of
eliminating cancer as major health issue and support much-needed services
in our community. Thanks in part to the donations from Relay For Life and other
events, the Society is saving lives, helping those touched by cancer, and
empowering people to fight this disease all over the world.
Fairfield's team "K.A.R.E. Bears" was one of the top money raising teams and
also received other special recognition.
